Today marks the very day it first happened in 2006.

I’ll alway remember this day which changed the entire course of how I once lived.

It’s been a really long while since I’ve really blogged as almost every attempt resulted in a post being deleted.

I’ve lost the motivation for almost anything these days.

I’ve feeling fatigue, restless, touchy, frustrated.

I have so many questions that I cannot answer.

Life sucks when you have to think so much about it.

And sometimes, it is not a matter of whether you know how to resolve things.

It is whether you actually have the courage to decide on things.

It has been almost 2 weeks from my last blog post and in between that time I’ve spent a total of at least $600 I think? And those damages consist majority spent on food at restaurants,  rental of my Harry Potter look-a-like gown, a Kenko 58mm CPL and this!! MUAHAHA!

Well, the first of May really got me thinking.

Firstly, I didn’t get into Business Adminstration in NUS. I got accepted into Computer Engineering instead which sucks IMO.

Damn.

Secondly, I’m starting to feel the pressure of the freaking tsunami of pictures I haven’t even filtered. It’s like how I am running away from reality like how I am still avoiding it right now.

The last thing that got me thinking even harder was what happened on the roads just now. If not for my dad’s quick reaction /jam braking, I would’ve felt that bitch-ass stupid mother fucker’s lousy ass driving skills right at the passenger seat.

Apart from the impulse swearing and gesturing at that mother fucker right in front of my parents, I somehow had to think that life’s really fragile and filled with uncertainty. I mean I’ve already stared death right in the face once before and duh, I’ve won. But still, I won’t be as lucky to win every other coin toss.

I guess it’s time for me to really step up, to learn to dare take that leap.

I need to find back that courage I once had.

Woah.

Photography never felt so stressful before. When will I ever learn my lesson of having good time management skills. Complacency always sets in before you actually have to decide and that will always lead to one of the shittiest decisions ever made.

And my work’s only half done! I’ve yet to print my contact details and to attach the pics on black backings before submission due this Saturday.

Only after spending 13 hours in front of the computer yesterday (going through my pathetic repository) finally made me realised I don’t have much to choose from and most pictures seriously lacked diversity!

Now that I’ve chosen and sent the pictures for printing, I still think the selected prints still lack a certain WOW factor to be even considered for merits.

Well, fuck it.

I guess it’s not about winning; its more about gaining experience and getting better at things.

I’m facing a photographer’s worst nightmare; the avalanche of pictures.

Ever since I stopped working last Wednesday, I’ve got my camera with me for at least 8 different occasions/locations.

With at least four more batches of pictures to filter and edit from, I don’t know when I’m gonna finished editing; probably in a shitty week or two. But with the SYPA due on the 17th of April and me heading out in less than 2 hours for another run of pics!? I guess I’d need to be more clinical in my finishing! HAHA.

All I’m done with so far are only the pictures from the chalet. Only after tomorrow when my camera is back in my pathetic armory then will I know whether I can manage to squeeze all the shit out of me in the very few days.

OMG. Less than 1 hr of playing Wii sports and I’m back home with a sore arm from all that tennis and baseball!! I wonder why I can hold a 3kg camera set up for the whole day and not feel anything! HAHAHA I SUCK.

Anyways, Marc booked a chalet at Changi for 5 days 4 nights with BBQ on 3 nights with 3 separate groups of people. The first night was nuts with most of the cuzzies turning up! The night was unsurprisingly loud but I could only sustain till 3am till my stamina ran out. My bad; But I’ll be going back tonight to resume till full term (Tuesday)!

Oh and on a previous note, my NUS interview turned out to not to be the usual 2 by 1. It was one we were told not to release any details to anyone. It just made it suck twice as harder than the previous one; however, it still maintains some degree of freshness to it.

In less than 3 days, I’ve been to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve twice, braved several potential dengue mosquito bites only to come back with average shots; guess I’m either losing touch or just dumbing down. -.- (Nevertheless, thanks to Bren for lending me his 150-500mm! Pics up as soon as I’ll try to deal with it!)

Apart from the a blistered left foot, a muscle strained right leg, yea, I’m good.

I think what ultimately fucked my almost imperfect day out was probably the call from NUS Business School requesting me to head down on the 31st March for a Discretionary Admission Interview.

For the umpteen time, I FUCKING HATE INTERVIEWS. And even in a place where my phone had no reception to begin with, the news still somehow got to my ears.

Fuck.

I’m just not the kind of person who would lift the balls of another just to give them a good impression. I’ll probably go along with my hobo look if what they want is first impressions; it’d probably be one in which they will never forget.
