I’ve got too many pictures to choose and edit from and I’ve lost count of the days. Anyways, I will be leaving here in 2 days time so I guess this will be the last post as bandwidth here is not unlimited and we have already reached the 80% mark for this month.

We went for our last guided tour to Barossa, Mount Lofty, Handorf and Cleland wildlife park today. Will do most of the last minute shoppings tomorrow although our baggage is already overweight and all I got was 2 jackets and a pair of shoes. -.-

11th & 12th October 2009.

Well, day one was practically spent walking around ghost town really. It was a Sunday and the CBD area was deserted! Like REALLLLY DESERTED! All shops were closed including every convenience stalls and we had to walk 5 blocks past 4-5 streets just to get to the petrol station to get a drink.

The only people we saw were Asians! We probably saw more Asians here in half a day than all the time we spent in Adelaide. LOL! Anyways, booked our tours for the 2 days and after today’s trip to Huon Valley, we came back with uber sore calves.

It was the first time we’ve ever saw low-lying clouds. The view was awesome! Will try to post up the pictures on Facebook once I get back to Adelaide as I’m currently on limited wireless bandwidth. It’s only the second day and I have more than 600 shots to choose from. Dang it.

9th & 10 October 2009.

The title says it all. Nua-ed as usual on the day before but today’s weather was too good to miss out. I was in berms the entire day with maximum temperatures of 21 degrees; and it gets to 26 tomorrow!

So Lou and I went downstairs to explore the nearby churches to take some pics. Sad to say, none were taken as we saw 2 weddings sessions; one in the church, and the other, solemnization session, at a nice and serene private park.

It’s always nice to see a happy couple getting married. My congratulations to them; whoever you are.

Anyways, packed our bags for tomorrow’s  flight to Tasmania. Hope my jackets will be sufficient to keep me warm enough as the average temperature hovers around 8-10 degrees. GG-fied. I’ll be bringing my lappy along with me and if time permits, I’ll be blogging! No promises though!

Until then, wait for my holla in Tas; or maybe when I’m back. LOL!

7th & 8th October 2009.

Woot! Changed my blog skin. The sucky part is that I can only upload one picture but it gives my landscaped pictures better emphasis. Guess I’ll stick to this for a while then? View most of the pictures on FB then! Haha.

Well, we followed Mel to her campus intially to crash her lecture. But since it was only an hours lesson, we decided to tour the campus for pictures instead. A dang huge campus with their very own biodiversity lake. Duckies and colour boidies roamed the area reminding me of the bird park back home.

Sun was pretty strong that day but still the temperature wasn’t rising as much; it was 6 degrees when we woke up in the morning. Only when I took out my camera for shots, I realised I only had 1 bar of battery. So fewer shots were taken with a section of my mind still thinking of trying to make the best out of the remaining juice left in it. LOL!

After her lesson, we followed her to their very own hospital-on-campus/ medical school to collect her lizard blood parasite assignment results before headed back to Glenelg to eat lunch at Nandos. We then headed back home and then to Harbourtown to shop and explore. Lots of clothes are on post-winter sales and Lou and I got a hoody each for only AUD$60 in total.

Time for bed now. Uber tired.

5th & 6th October 2009.

We finally decided to go ahead with the Tasmania flight even though with Tasmina’s weather forecast far from ideal. LOL! To fly to fro via Tiger Airways only cost us AUS$148 and we got a sweet deal via wotif.com!

A 3 night mystery deal for $267 per room equipped with a queen size and a size bed, located in the heart of Hobart’s CBD. The catch is they wouldn’t tell you the name of the hotel only after you’ve booked the rooms!

We decided to go ahead with the bookings and we got Mercure Hobart! A reputable 4 star hotel! Cheap Shiat with only a 5 min walk to the Salamanca Market! Anyways, nua-ed as usual during the two days with only a sunset picture taken yesterday.

3rd & 4th October 2009.

Thanks to the daylight savings thingie, we lost one hour of our time which eventually made us miss the intially planned time to catch the tram. Anyways, we took the tram to Rundle Mall before walking past the Rundle Street Market to the Botanic Gardens.

As I’ve been there before, I thought of doing more macro-ing rather than doing the normal tourists shots. LOL. There was this trial rose garden with roses bigger than the size of my fist. It was the biggest shit load of flower congregation I’ve ever seen in my life. Awesome stuff.

After we left the Botanic Gardens, we headed to this Irish bar supposing to have lunch. But it was after 2pm and their kitchen had already closed till dinner. Fag. So Lou just got himself a Guiness and for me, iced water. We then walked in the direction of Rundle Mall and found this little restaurant/cafe at the corner of the road where we had lunch served by 2 cute asian waitresses; according to Lou. LOL! Even the boss was Asian!

Anyhows, we explored the University of Adelaide’s campus till the Festival Centre. Shit loads of pictures, so here’s a few snapshots! All are up on my Facebook album!

We dined at Mamma Garmela, the italian restaurant across the street for dinner and also to celebrate louis’ 21st birdday! Mel and I sneaked down to get the cake and booze while Lou was in the shower. LOL!

Anyways, the dinner was fabulastic with the bread, the pizza, the wedges, the calamari and the prawn pasta, the wine, the cake; everything.

We took the tram for the first time since we arrived. As the weather permits, our initial plan was to head to the Museum, the Art Gallery and also to the Botanic Gardens. The museum wasn’t as exciting as it seems especially with half of their exhibits based on the aboriginal stuffs.

The Art Gallery was exceptionally majestic and brilliant. It was a pity that as soon as I attempted to take a picture, I was stopped by this AYE MATE! NO PICTURES ALLOWED IN HERE. Fish paste.

But by the time we covered the museum and art gallery, we were dead hungry and wandered across to Rundle Mall; so we abandoned the idea of going to the Botanic Gardens. Fruitless attempts to find places to eat made us travel down to Victoria Square to head to Sushi train for lunch. After about 10 mins of walking/ recalling, we finally managed to find the damn restaurant. It was partially my bad. LOL!
